The IDF announced that Route 10 in the Paran Regional Brigade sector, near the western border, will open to hikers during the upcoming holidays. For Rosh Hashanah, specific sections of the route will be accessible from September 15-17, with varying hours. During Sukkot, the route between Ezuz and Har Harif will open on September 25, and the area from the Bar-Lev Lookout to the 10/12 Checkpoint will be open from September 26 to October 3. Hikers must present an ID and register at the entrance; no prior coordination is needed. The IDF also stated that training exercises in live-fire zones in the south and north will continue, and these areas will remain closed to the public.
