Housing costs top young Israelis’ election concerns, security trails far behind – poll

A new Israel 2050 survey reveals that housing costs and other economic and social issues are the primary concerns for young Israelis, particularly those in southern Israel, ahead of the upcoming elections. Security concerns ranked significantly lower. Housing prices were the most important issue for 38% of respondents, who rated the state's performance in this area at a mere 2.5 out of 10. In contrast, only 4% considered the security situation their greatest concern. The survey, conducted among 409 individuals aged 18-35, also indicated that 75% would consider voting for a party offering long-term solutions to their key issues, and only 21% believe current government decisions are building a strong foundation for their future.
