Houthis claim to have struck Saudi Aramco facility, Riyadh with missiles, drones

Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for missile and drone attacks on "sensitive" sites in the Saudi capital Riyadh and an Aramco facility in Yanbu on Saturday. This followed observations of flames and smoke near Riyadh's main airport. The Saudi-led coalition confirmed its air defenses destroyed a missile targeting Riyadh and foiled other attacks on civilian areas, though it did not specify damage. These attacks are part of an escalation since July, threatening global oil supplies. The UN Security Council "condemned in the strongest terms continued Houthi attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including attacks impacting civilian and energy infrastructure."
