Dan Finel, a 27-year-old French immigrant to Israel, has launched knesset2026.com, a free online quiz designed to help new immigrants navigate the upcoming 2026 Israeli election. The platform, available in multiple languages including English, French, and Spanish, allows users to answer 16 questions to find the candidate whose views best align with their own. Finel stated, "I wanted to understand the different candidates and their opinions," as he found it difficult to access information in foreign languages. The website also provides daily curated news about Israeli politics in the user's preferred language, including election polling results. Finel, who made aliyah in September 2024, developed the tool to foster greater unity among Israelis, noting, "The country is a bit broken, very divided, and that's difficult. This is why the election is so important."
