Huckabee: Iran’s ballistic missiles can now reach European cities

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee stated on Sunday that while the Iranian regime is currently weaker, its ballistic missile capabilities have significantly advanced, now reaching major European cities. He noted, "In one year they went from being able to deliver a ballistic missile from 2,000 kilometers to over 4,100 kilometers." This expansion puts cities like London, Paris, Berlin, and Rome within Iran's missile range. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Hudson Institute senior fellow Can Kasapoğlu corroborated this assessment, with the IDF stating, "The Iranian terrorist regime poses a global threat. Now, with missiles that can reach London, Paris or Berlin." This development follows Iran's launch of a long-range missile at Diego Garcia in March, which, though unsuccessful, demonstrated extended reach. Western governments, including Britain, France, and Germany, have previously warned the UN Security Council about Iran's Ghaem-100 missile, developed under its civilian space program, which could function as an intermediate-range ballistic missile with a range of 3,000 to 5,500 kilometers.
