IDF finds dead body tied to stretcher in southern Lebanon, launches investigation

IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon on Thursday discovered a dead body tied to a stretcher near Rab El Thalathine, adjacent to a minefield. The body has been transferred to the police for further investigation. This incident follows a similar event on July 2 in the Gaza Strip, where a video circulated showing a blindfolded Palestinian man tied to a broomstick and a metal cot. The IDF confirmed the legitimacy of the Gaza incident after an investigation, stating, “A command-level inquiry is being conducted, and those involved will be dealt with in accordance with its findings."
