IDF soldier arrested over suspected role in grenade supply network, stealing military weapons

An IDF soldier from Bat Yam was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of supplying military grenades, ammunition, and other weapons. Police seized "dozens of IDF weapons, including grenades" from his home. The arrest is part of an investigation into a network supplying weapons possibly linked to recent grenade attacks in central Israel, including incidents in Kochav Hatzafon, Tel Aviv, and Herzliya Pituah on Wednesday. While no injuries or significant damage occurred in these recent attacks, which involved suspected stun grenades, authorities are investigating if they are connected to a dispute between the Musli and Jarushi crime families. The Military Police Criminal Investigation Division's Special Investigations Unit is handling the investigation.
