IDF soldier severely injured by gunfire at military base

An IDF soldier was severely injured on Tuesday evening as a result of gunfire at a military base in central Israel.

The soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family was notified. Following the incident, the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division launched an investigation, the findings of which will be submitted to the Military Advocate General's Corps for review.
