IDF strikes Syrian terrorist poised to carry out imminent terror attack on Israeli soldiers

The IDF conducted a drone strike in southern Syria on Saturday, targeting a terrorist who was in the "final stages" of preparing an improvised explosive device (IED) attack against Israeli soldiers. The strike reportedly injured one person and hit a vehicle on a farm near Damascus, according to Al Jazeera. This action follows an earlier IDF attack on the Abu al-Duhur military airfield in Idlib province on Tuesday. US Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barrack, suggested the Tuesday strike might have been politically motivated to provoke Ankara ahead of Israeli elections.
