IDF targets Hezbollah in southern Lebanon following Hezbollah drone launches – report

The IDF conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday, targeting areas near Nabatieh, including Kfar Rumman, in response to Hezbollah drone launches. Lebanese media reported two fatalities and one injury in a strike in Nabatieh. Earlier Sunday, Hezbollah launched two explosive drones at IDF forces in southern Lebanon; one was intercepted, and no Israeli injuries were reported. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated, "this is a blatant violation by the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The IDF is operating now and will continue to operate with force against the Hezbollah terrorist organization's repeated attempts to harm our forces." These strikes followed similar operations over the weekend against Hezbollah infrastructure and terrorists, which were in response to a prior drone attempt by Hezbollah against IDF forces.
