IDF tightens siege on Hezbollah terrorists trapped in underground Lebanon complex

The IDF is intensifying its siege on dozens of Hezbollah terrorists reportedly trapped in an underground complex on Lebanon’s strategic Ali Taher ridge. Israeli forces are cutting off water and preventing supplies, including drone deliveries, from reaching the operatives, who remain barricaded. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday, "In recent days Israel has acted forcefully in Lebanon, eliminating terrorists, including on the Ali Taher ridge." The IDF maintains surveillance and fire control over the area, using airstrikes while limiting ground troop exposure due to diplomatic sensitivities surrounding military presence in Lebanon. This operation follows a recent escalation where Hezbollah attacked an Israeli military vehicle with a drone in the same area last month, which Israel responded to by destroying Hezbollah tunnels near Beaufort Castle with 700 tons of explosives.
