IDF troops seize Hezbollah arms cache in Southern Lebanon

IDF reservists operating in southwestern Lebanon discovered a significant Hezbollah weapons cache in the village of Majdal Zoun, approximately four miles north of the border. The cache, found within civilian infrastructure, included Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank missiles, and explosives. Soldiers also demolished structures used by Hezbollah. This operation occurred amidst efforts to eliminate threats in the Israeli-controlled security zone.

• IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir stated the military would maintain its security zone until "long-term security is ensured," and warned of deeper operations if necessary.
• The discovery followed a Hezbollah explosive drone attack on an Israeli engineering vehicle in southeastern Lebanon, which the IDF called a "blatant violation" of the ceasefire.
• No soldiers were injured in the drone attack, and Israel is reportedly considering a limited response.
