‘If you’re ever confused: I stand with the Jews,’ Boy George releases pro-Israel song

British pop icon Boy George has released a new pro-Israel song titled “We Will Dance Again” (also known as “Od Nirkod” in Hebrew). The reggae-inspired track, shared on his social media with the hashtag #Shalom, defends Israel's military actions in Gaza and criticizes those who support the Palestinian cause while overlooking the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks. The song's title references a slogan used by survivors of the Nova music festival, where 378 people were killed. Boy George, who is not Jewish, has been increasingly vocal in his support for Jewish communities since October 7, rejecting calls to boycott Eurovision over Israel's participation and stating, “If you’re ever confused: I stand with the Jews.”
