Iran said to tell Hezbollah, allies to prepare for wider conflict, which could rope in Israel

Iran has reportedly instructed its regional allies, including Hezbollah, to prepare for a potentially broader and more severe conflict amid escalating military tensions with the United States. This development, reported by Lebanon's Nidaa Al Watan newspaper, suggests that Israel could become directly involved. The directive follows meetings in Tehran where leaders of the “Axis of Resistance” indicated that the current period of waiting is ending and military preparations are a priority. Hezbollah has been told to be fully prepared, with Iranian officials warning that any future conflict could be more extensive than previous engagements.

• The US has conducted six consecutive nights of airstrikes against Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and a surveillance tower at Chabahar port, aiming to pressure Tehran regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
• Iran has retaliated with missile and drone attacks against US-allied nations in the Middle East, including Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait, and claimed to have struck US military aircraft in Jordan.
• Iranian state media reported eight fatalities and 20 injuries from US strikes on infrastructure in southern and western Iran, while Kuwait reported damage to a power and water plant and injuries to military personnel from Iranian drone attacks.
