Iran says it’s in ‘full-scale war’ with US as mediators said to proffer 10-day truce

Meanwhile, a US official confirmed plans for a potential expansion of military operations against Iran, though limited by munitions stockpiles. Diplomatic exchanges are ongoing, with an Iranian official stating that mediators conveyed a proposal for a 10-day ceasefire to revive an interim deal from last month. Separately, Iran warned against the misuse of the Strait of Hormuz, following recent attacks on vessels in the waterway. The Pentagon also reportedly did not disclose dozens of US casualties and helicopter damage from Iranian strikes last week, with two US soldiers identified as killed in action, bringing the total to three in renewed fighting.
