Iran targets Bahrain and Jordan in retaliation as US strikes continue

The US launched airstrikes on Iranian port cities, including Bushehr and Bandar Abbas, for a third consecutive day, targeting capabilities to attack commercial shipping. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran, stating, “The days are over when someone strikes us and we don’t hit back with a decisive blow.” These exchanges have further complicated efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and achieve a permanent truce, with little progress made in ongoing negotiations.
