US President Donald Trump stated that Iran would be “totally wiped out as a country” if it retaliated for renewed American strikes on Tuesday. Speaking with Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump claimed the US destroyed Iranian radar equipment, waiting until it was “almost built and then we hit it.” These strikes marked the second US military action against Iran after a week-long pause. Trump asserted he had given Iran “a lot of chances” for peace, but believes “an agreement with them isn't worth the paper it's written on.” He also warned that any Iranian retaliation would be met with the “biggest attack of them all.”
