Iranian envoy visits four nationals detained for three months in Kuwaiti prison
This occurred a few days after an Iranian military official accused Kuwait of withholding information about their fate.
Iran's ambassador to Kuwait recently visited four Iranian nationals detained in a Kuwaiti prison for three months. The Iranian embassy in Kuwait announced on Tuesday that the ambassador was informed about their health and current situation. This visit follows accusations from Mohammad Baqerzadeh, commander of the Committee for the Search for Missing Persons of Iran's Armed Forces General Staff, who stated on Monday that Kuwait was "withholding information about the fate of the four men." Iran claimed in May that the four, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, entered Kuwaiti waters due to a navigation disruption during a maritime patrol. Conversely, Kuwait suspects the individuals were "planning hostile actions against the country."
