IRGC claims to have thwarted Israeli, US-linked terror cell in southeastern Iran

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Saturday that security forces thwarted a terror cell in the Sistan and Baluchistan Province, southeastern Iran. The IRGC claimed the cell was linked to Israel and the United States, stating that one member was killed and six others, including supporters, were arrested. The operation, a joint effort by the IRGC, Iran's Intelligence Ministry, and provincial police, reportedly occurred after the cell entered the area with intentions to carry out sabotage and attacks. Authorities claimed to have seized explosives, weapons, ammunition, and Starlink communication equipment. The IRGC warned against further hostile activities, stating that the security of Sistan and Baluchistan residents is a "red line."
