Is there really progress in Trump’s Gaza, Lebanon and Iran talks?

The Times of Israel's "Lazar Focus" podcast, hosted by diplomatic correspondent Lazar Berman and Gabriella Jacobs, discussed diplomatic progress on three major fronts: Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza. Regarding Iran, President Trump stated the US and Iran were in talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, though Berman argued Iran, aware of Trump's reluctance for war, continues to raise demands. The diplomatic process in Lebanon is more promising, with Israel and Lebanon holding their seventh round of direct talks in Rome despite recent violence. However, this process is not expected to disarm Hezbollah. In Gaza, the Trump Administration and Board of Peace claim progress in convincing Hamas to sign a disarmament roadmap, though Israel has not ratified it and continues to confront threats. Berman noted that while Iran attempts to unify these fronts, Israel has successfully de-linked them, believing that the fall of the Islamic Republic would lead to the collapse of Hezbollah and Hamas.
