Israel facing propaganda attack, Netanyahu says at memorial ceremony for Christian IDF soldiers

Speaking at a cornerstone-laying ceremony for a memorial dedicated to Arabic-speaking Christian soldiers, Netanyahu asserted that Israel and its soldiers are being falsely depicted as committing war crimes and persecuting minorities. He emphasized that Israel is an "island of tolerance" where the Christian community "flourishes and grows," unlike other parts of the Middle East where they face persecution. Netanyahu added that the memorial helps "shatter that lie" by highlighting that Christians actively protect Israel. He warned that repeated falsehoods can become accepted as truth.
