Israel keeps Europe’s homeland safe

Despite public criticism and BDS campaigns, several European nations are increasingly relying on Israeli air defense technology to secure their homelands. Greece recently signed a 3-billion-euro deal with Israel for systems like David’s Sling and Barak MX, becoming the first EU country to adopt a multi-layer shield similar to Israel's. Finland extended its defense pact with Jerusalem through 2034 for its David’s Sling system, defending the decision by stating, “At this stage, we have only made sure that Finland gets the best air defense system in the world.” Other countries, including Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Cyprus, have also acquired Israeli defense systems to counter missile and drone threats, primarily from Russia and the Middle East. Even nations like the UK and Spain, which have considered or implemented boycotts, have faced challenges due to their reliance on Israeli components for critical defense infrastructure.
