Israel launches 'Masa diplomacy' program in push for pro-Israel advocacy through Diaspora youth

The Israeli government has approved "Masa Diplomacy," a new program aimed at equipping Jewish youth in the Diaspora with advocacy skills for Israel. Proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, the initiative seeks to counter rising antisemitism and disinformation. The program, which will be approximately six weeks long, will offer online advocacy content, public speaking workshops, educational tours, and seminars led by diplomats. The government has allocated NIS 1 million for scholarships for about 70 participants in the 2026-2027 academic year. Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, "We will continue to invest in strengthening the bond with Diaspora Jewry and in solidifying Israel's status and strength in the world."
