Israel National Biotech Innovation Center (INBI) launches with Anat Cohen-Dayag as CEO of INBI Core

The Israel National Biotech Innovation Center (INBI) has officially launched, aiming to accelerate the development of new therapies by translating Israeli biomedical research into clinical applications. This non-profit national center of excellence unites 15 Israeli research institutions and medical centers, including universities and healthcare organizations, to bridge the gap between academic discovery and clinical application.

Samuel Moed, chairperson of INBI, stated, "INBI represents a visionary model and marks the first-ever unity of all major sources of life sciences research in Israel, joining forces to create a national center of excellence with the mission of accelerating human cures."

Anat Cohen-Dayag, Ph.D., has been appointed CEO of INBI Core Ltd., a subsidiary focused on early-stage drug development, while Moed, former head of corporate strategy at Bristol Myers Squibb, serves as chairperson of INBI. The initiative seeks to provide infrastructure, funding, and commercialization opportunities to transform disruptive discoveries into global therapies.
