Israel Police find illegal weapons, explosives among Arab communities in operation against crime

Israel Police conducted an operation to combat violent crime in Arab communities, seizing illegal weapons and explosives. In Taybeh, police found 6.5 kg of explosive material and remote detonation equipment. In Kafr Kassem, raids at four locations uncovered two Glock 19 pistols, a 9mm magazine, and several rifle magazines, leading to four arrests. Additionally, two suspects were arrested in Shfaram last week for allegedly stealing a shoulder-fired MATADOR missile from the IDF; one suspect is an illegal resident. Both were transferred for questioning, and police plan to seek an extension of their detention.
