Israel Railways suspends train service between Tel Aviv, Lod

Israel Railways has temporarily suspended train service between Tel Aviv and Lod due to a localized fault in the electrification network, which is currently undergoing repairs. The company advises passengers to seek alternative transportation as crews work to restore service. This follows a separate incident last week where a fire in the Be'er Ya'acov area disrupted train service between Lod, Rehovot, and Ashkelon, and also between Lod and Rishon Lezion HaRishonim, causing delays at multiple stations.
