Israel removes Netherlands representatives from Gaza center following settlement goods ban

Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced on Tuesday the expulsion of Netherlands representatives from the International Support Center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat. This decision, approved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, comes in response to the Dutch government's recent ban on the import, sale, and purchase of goods produced in Israeli West Bank settlements and the Golan Heights, effective September 22. Sa'ar stated, "Our message is clear: Those who act against Israel will have no foothold in the region." The Dutch Embassy was notified, and representatives must leave the country within one week. Sa'ar also linked the Dutch policies to a rise in antisemitism in the Netherlands.
