Israel strikes Gaza police post, Hamas-run ministry says station chief killed

Israel conducted several strikes in Gaza, resulting in multiple fatalities. The Hamas-run Palestinian Interior Ministry reported that Mohammed Marwan Salem, head of the Jabaliya camp police station, was killed along with several officers and staff in an Israeli strike on Tuesday morning. Palestinian reports indicated seven deaths in this incident, while Reuters cited medical officials reporting one killed and three wounded in Khan Younis, and a 10-year-old child killed in Rafah.

The IDF struck in Gaza City yesterday and eliminated the terrorist Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh, who served as a cell commander in the naval force of the Hamas terrorist organization.

The IDF also confirmed killing Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh, a cell commander in Hamas’ naval force, and three armed Hamas terrorists in separate strikes the previous day. Additionally, the IDF reported killing Yahya Said Mohammed Hamdan, a Nukhba cell head involved in the October 7 massacre, and Rashid al-Qachi, a section head in Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s weapons production apparatus, in earlier strikes.
