Israel to build military campus for IDF commanders in Jerusalem

The Israel Ministry of Defense announced plans to construct a new military campus in Jerusalem. This campus will serve as an advanced center for training and education for future Israel Defense Forces commanders. The project is a collaborative effort between the IMOD, the IDF Planning Directorate, the Jerusalem Municipality, and the Jerusalem Development Authority. Defense Minister Israel Katz stated, “There is no place more appropriate than Jerusalem to shape the generation of commanders.” Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion believes this move will strengthen Jerusalem's position as an economic capital and deepen the connection between the IDF and the city, bringing thousands of service members and personnel.
