Israeli ambulance driver indicted for spying on hospitals, sites for Iran

An Israeli Arab ambulance driver, Amir Hisham Mohammed Titi, 34, from Bi’ina, was indicted on Thursday for allegedly spying for Iran. Titi was arrested on June 29 following a joint investigation by the Shin Bet and Israel Police. He allegedly exploited his access as an ambulance driver to photograph hospital deployments during routine and emergency periods, including a senior official at a northern Israeli hospital. Additionally, Titi was reportedly directed to document "Hostage Square" in Tel Aviv, a protest in Haifa, and a moshav in the Sharon region where a senior security official resides. Authorities stated Titi received tens of thousands of shekels for his activities, describing it as a "serious instance of an Israeli citizen assisting an enemy during wartime."
