Israeli defense minister says Gaza’s destruction gives him a ‘good feeling’

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip gives him a “good feeling,” attributing it to a “deliberate policy” aimed at eliminating threats. During a tour of northern Gaza, broadcast by Israel’s Channel 14, Katz announced plans to establish three military-linked settlement outposts in the territory. He claimed this move was necessary for security, strengthening Israeli control and defense. Katz noted a shift from temporary raids to a strategy where “the army is inside, the terrorists are outside, and the houses are destroyed.”
