Israeli-designed Palace of Versailles extended reality installation set to launch

Israeli companies Yaturu and Yalla Digital, in partnership with France's Firstep Production, are launching an extended reality (XR) tourism installation called "Light of Liberty" at the Palace of Versailles. This venture allows visitors to experience 18th-century events, including naval battles and diplomatic encounters with figures like Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, through XR headsets. The project, developed in six months, honors America's 250th anniversary and the French-American alliance. Udi Regonis, CEO of Yaturu, stated, "Visitors do much more than just learn about the alliance between France and America; they feel it in their whole body." Shlomo Balas, Yaturu's VP of Production and Content, noted the project's logistical challenges due to Versailles' sensitive and renowned status.
