Israeli flags placed beside grave of fallen soldier torn, vandalized

Israeli flags placed at the grave of Staff Sgt. Regev Amar, a soldier killed on October 7 in Kibbutz Kissufim, were vandalized and torn down in Kibbutz Sde Nehemia. This marks the second such incident this week, according to his mother, Gilanit Amar, who expressed her pain on social media, stating, "Regevi, I'm sorry." Regev, who was 20, served as a Negev machine gunner in the Paratroopers Brigade and dreamed of becoming an officer and then studying medicine. On October 7, he sustained severe injuries but continued to direct fighting, telling his comrades, "If you come near me, you will die." His family is establishing "Derech Regev," a pre-military academy branch, to honor his values.
