Sokolovsky, born in 2006, secured the title by going undefeated throughout the nine-round Swiss-system tournament, achieving five wins and four draws for a total of seven points. He entered as the top seed and delivered a strong performance, particularly in the final three rounds where he secured decisive victories against Anton Zlatkov, Emin Ohanyan, and Vah Sukiasyan.
