Israeli lawyer arrested after drugs disguised as eyelash remover arrive in cargo shipment

An Israeli lawyer was arrested at Ben-Gurion Airport on Tuesday for allegedly smuggling GHB, or liquid ecstasy, into Israel. The drugs were disguised as false eyelash remover in a cargo shipment from England via Turkey. Police followed the package to the Tel Aviv resident, arresting him upon delivery. A search of his home uncovered additional suspected drugs, including heroin and ecstasy, along with foreign currency. His detention was extended until August 16.
