Israeli legal group urges US to investigate Hind Rajab Foundation

The Israeli legal group Shurat HaDin Law Center has urged the U.S. Department of Justice to launch a federal national security investigation into the Brussels-based Hind Rajab Foundation. Shurat HaDin, which represents victims of terror and antisemitic attacks, alleges the Foundation targets Israeli soldiers and lawmakers with legal cases and doxing, potentially violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and benefiting designated terrorist organizations like Hezbollah. The complaint, filed on July 6, questions the Foundation's funding and direction, noting its extensive resources and sophisticated operations. Shurat HaDin's founder, Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, stated, "This is not human rights advocacy, it is the systematic weaponization of the legal system to terrorize the defenders of the Jewish state." The Hind Rajab Foundation, established in 2024 by Lebanese-Belgian activists, denies hidden sponsorship. The U.S. Justice Department has not yet responded.
