Israeli lightly wounded in Palestinian rock attack in Samaria

On Wednesday morning, an Israeli civilian sustained light injuries in a Palestinian rock-throwing attack on Route 60 in the Binyamin region of Samaria. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that soldiers were dispatched to the Ma'ale Levona area after reports of "terrorists that were hurling rocks toward Israeli vehicles." A 62-year-old woman was treated at the scene and evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, and two vehicles were damaged. The IDF temporarily encircled the Arab village of Sinjil and began searching for the perpetrators. According to Rescuers Without Borders, Palestinian attacks in Judea and Samaria targeted Israeli Jews at least 5,051 times in 2025, including 3,299 instances of rock-throwing, resulting in 24 murders and over 400 injuries.
