An Israeli man, Mahmoud Khatib, and two Gaza residents were indicted in Nazareth Magistrate's Court on Tuesday for offenses related to illegal entry into Israel. Khatib, 74, from Kafr Kanna, admitted to transporting the two Gazans from their lodging to their workplace in exchange for NIS 50. Police stopped his Skoda in Kafr Kanna after observing a passenger attempting to hide. The two Gaza residents, aged 37 and 54, were found to lack valid permits for being in Israel. Khatib was charged with transporting illegal residents, while the two passengers were charged with entering and remaining in Israel without permits.
