Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu orders new West Bank outposts after deadly clash

Following a deadly clash on Friday that resulted in the deaths of two Israelis and four Palestinians, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the establishment of new settler outposts in the occupied West Bank. The violence erupted near the Havat Gilad settlement and the Palestinian village of Tell. Walid Zidan, head of the Tell village council, stated that the clashes began when approximately 20 settlers entered the village, leading to altercations and subsequent gunfire from Israeli soldiers and settlers. The Israeli military reported a violent confrontation between dozens of Palestinians and Israeli civilians, confirming that one member of an emergency response security team was killed and others were injured, with a weapon stolen by a "Palestinian terrorist."
