Israeli tourism to Morocco is beginning to recover with the resumption of direct flights from Tel Aviv to Marrakech this summer. Arkia operated the first direct flight in August, and three weekly flights are now active. Tour guide Uri Attias anticipates approximately 20,000 Israeli visitors by the end of 2026, contributing to the local economy. Attias stated, "There are many businesses in Morocco that are really waiting for Israeli tourists. It is their source of oxygen." While current numbers are low, initial demand suggests a potential return to pre-war levels of around 100,000 annual Israeli tourists, as Moroccan businesses are eager for the return of organized groups.
