Senator Graham, who passed away Saturday at 71, was a strong supporter of Israel, with Netanyahu remarking, "Israel has lost one of its greatest friends." This development occurs as the ceasefire between Iran and the United States has reportedly collapsed, and amid ongoing US-brokered talks between Lebanese and Israeli officials in Rome regarding a phased Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon.
