JD Vance tells Joe Rogan Israel wants to keep Iran war going ‘indefinitely,’ Trump admin ‘screwed up’ on Epstein files

During an interview on the "Joe Rogan Experience" released Wednesday, Vice President JD Vance stated that some individuals within the Israeli government are attempting to manipulate American public opinion to prolong the military campaign with Iran "indefinitely." Vance claimed, "There are some people within their system, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt, who are manipulating and trying to change American public opinion to keep the war going on indefinitely." He also alleged the existence of a "very discreet, extremely well-funded… literal foreign-influence campaign being funded to tank" the Iran deal, though he clarified that Israeli pressure did not influence President Trump's decision to go to war in Iran. Additionally, Vance acknowledged that the Trump administration "screwed up" the communication regarding the release of Jeffrey Epstein files, but denied any cover-up, stating, "We absolutely screwed up the comms of the Epstein files. Like, we just did." He suggested that any evidence connecting Epstein to intelligence agencies might have been destroyed around his 2008 criminal case.
