The Jerusalem Orchestra East & West's youth division, TJO Youth-Galilee, is performing in New York this week, including a Tuesday evening appearance at the opening of the annual United Nations General Assembly session. The ensemble, comprising Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Druze musicians aged 14-23 from the Galilee, is the sole musical act scheduled for the UN event. Prior to their UN performance, the group had an informal jam session with veteran Israeli singer-songwriter David Broza.
