Jewish settler ambushed near Kiryat Arba, forces rescue abducted woman

On Thursday evening, two separate incidents occurred in the West Bank. Near Kiryat Arba, a Jewish settler was ambushed by Palestinians wielding clubs. She alerted authorities, and the Kiryat Arba police chief responded, sustaining a minor head injury from stone-pelting before firing shots that dispersed the assailants.

In a separate incident, a woman in her 20s from central Israel, who had been forcibly taken to Hebron by relatives, was located and rescued. The operation involved Israeli police, IDF troops, and Palestinian Authority police. The woman was found in good health, and her relatives were detained for further investigation.
