Jewish teen attacked with phone and metal chair at North Miami Beach Starbucks

An 18-year-old Jewish teenager was attacked at a Starbucks inside a Target store in North Miami Beach on Sunday afternoon. The victim, who was wearing a kippah, was approached by 43-year-old Chyvonne Juanita Palmer, who began screaming at him before striking him twice with a cell phone. Palmer then attempted to assault him with a metal chair while shouting, "I hate them," but was stopped by bystanders. The victim stated the attack was "completely unprovoked." Palmer was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with prejudice, and disorderly conduct.
