Katz threatens 'all-out war' on PA over West Bank 'October 7-style attack' terror threat to Israel

Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have directed the IDF to prepare for an “all-out war” against senior Palestinian Authority officials and associated bodies in the West Bank. This directive comes should Israel identify a plan for an “October 7-style terrorist attack” against Israeli forces and Jewish settlements. Katz stated, “If the security apparatuses of the Palestinian Authority and the bodies associated with them launch, or we know for certain that they are about to launch, an October 7-style terrorist attack… Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I instructed the IDF to prepare to launch an all-out war.” The announcement followed a recent stabbing attack in the West Bank and amid increased IDF exercises testing combat readiness on multiple fronts, including the West Bank, where several terror plots have recently been foiled.
