Knesset approves Elections Law for the 26th Knesset

The Knesset Plenary has approved the Elections Law for the 26th Knesset, a measure initiated by the Central Elections Committee to adapt election procedures. This legislation establishes dedicated polling stations for citizens displaced by the security situation since October 7, 2023, enabling them to vote at accessible locations, which will be publicized closer to Election Day. Additionally, the law includes a temporary provision, valid for one year, requiring a clear disclosure on all election campaign material created or substantially edited using digital means, stating that "the content was not captured in reality."
