Lahav 433 questions figure close to senior Likud circles over alleged concealment of assets

On Monday, Israel Police, specifically the Lahav 433 National Economic Crime Unit and the Justice Ministry's insolvency enforcement unit, detained a contractor and several businesspeople for questioning. The individuals are suspected of systematically concealing real estate interests and transferring assets during bankruptcy proceedings. One of the figures questioned is reportedly close to senior Likud circles. The contractor, who has been in bankruptcy proceedings since 2012, allegedly hid rights to properties valued at tens of millions of shekels and transferred controlled assets, violating disclosure obligations. Property was seized during the operation for potential forfeiture.
