Lapid after security briefing with Netanyahu: No reason to cause public panic

Opposition leader Yair Lapid commented on the security briefing he received from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he would not violate the confidentiality of the briefing, but argued that “Israel’s security and IDF bases are not the backdrop for campaign videos."According to Lapid, the IDF, Shin Bet and police are prepared for the elections and “there is no reason to cause public panic." He added that he demanded Netanyahu hold a meeting with the Shin Bet chief and Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Solberg ahead of the election.
