London police seeks British man accused of assaulting three Jewish teens on bus

London's Metropolitan Police are investigating an alleged antisemitic hate crime where three 14-year-old Jewish boys were assaulted and subjected to hate speech on a bus in Mill Hill on September 10, the day before Rosh Hashanah. Two boys reported physical assault, and all three experienced hate speech. Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams stated, "The Met will not tolerate antisemitism in any form, and we will respond robustly to any and all offenses that occur." The suspect is believed to be a white British man, and urgent inquiries are ongoing. This incident occurred despite increased police patrols for the Jewish High Holidays. The Community Security Trust and the Board of Deputies of British Jews are working with the school and police, with the Board of Deputies emphasizing, "Jewish children must be able to go about their daily lives without fear of being targeted for who they are."
